The Catholics, in Warri diocese today, came together at Oleri town to mark end the
May devotion which had started since the 1st of May.

The ceremony started at about 10:00am with confessions, which were heard by three different priests.
The holy mass started at about 12:10pm. The homily was given by Rev. Fr. Anthony Anenene. In his homily he encouraged those present to persevere during hardship. He made reference to Elizabeth in the bible, who people termed barren and how she was blessed because of her perseverance.

The ceremony ended at about 3:10pm with the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and blessing of Sacramental objects.
