Actress Heather Menzies-Urich, actress in the Sound of music, dies
of brain cancer. She was the third oldest of the singing von Trapp children
called Louisa von Trapp, in the sound of music.
She died at the age of 68
years. She was born in Toronto on the 3rd of December 1949. Heather
Menzies-Urich was diagnosed with a terminal brain cancer in November 2017 and
she died on the 24th of December 2017. She got married to Robert Urich
in the year 1975, but he died in 2002 of cancer. Before her marriage to Urich she
was married to John Cluett in 1969 but they got divorced in 1973.
With the death of Urich, she started the Robert Urich foundation, which was to assist in funding cancer
research programs and aid people with cancer, was where she dedicated the last
years of her time.
Apart from the Sound of Music, she starred in other films which
includes, Hawaii, How sweet it is!, Hail, Hero!, Piranha and Endangered
species.
Menzies-Urich was survived
by three children and two grand children.
